Two brothers. One better room.

We are two brothers who grew up on golf. We love the game, and we love playing it indoors when the weather, the daylight or the schedule says no.

What we did not love was how long it takes. A round on a course eats hours, and between our two schedules those hours were hard to find. We still wanted to play, just on a clock that fit our lives.

And we did not love the setup either. Every simulator room we walked into felt old-school and archaic. You balanced a ball on a plastic tee, and when it snapped you dug for another. You bent over after every single shot. Some places even had you bringing your own balls!

We kept thinking the same thing: this should be easier. The technology exists. The room should do the work so you can just play golf.

Then there was the other half of the game. You can hit driver all day and still lose the round on the green. Most simulator rooms treat putting as an afterthought, so we wanted a place where you could work on it, and play it, too. That is where PuttView came in. It lets you train your stroke and then play games on the same green.

So we built the room we wanted to walk into. The ball tees itself. The green is part of the room, not an add-on. The door is open at 2 p.m. or 2 a.m., because golf does not keep office hours.

We named it Lumen. Leave the light on.
